ADC monitors auction process in fruit, vegetable market

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Gujrat Saba Sehar visited the fruit and vegetable market to monitor the auction process.

During the visit, the ADC reviewed the bidding procedure, supply of fruits and vegetables, and the price determination mechanism.

She directed the market committee and traders to ensure transparency in the auction process and strict implementation of official price list so that consumers could get essential food items at reasonable rates.

The ADC said that during the holy month of Ramazan, the district administration would continue action against profiteering and hoarding to ensure the availability of fruits and vegetables at fair prices for the public.
