ADC G) Attock, Anil Saeed, visited the District Jail Attock on occasion of Eid to share joys of festive season

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Attock, Anil Saeed, visited the District Jail Attock on the occasion of Eid to share the joys of the festive season with the incarcerated inmates.

During his visit, the ADC General met with the prisoners, inquired about their welfare, and distributed sweets among them.

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that inmates are an integral part of society’s celebrations and directed the jail administration to ensure they are treated with human empathy and dignity.

Mr. Saeed further instructed the authorities to provide all basic facilities to the prisoners without fail.

"No negligence will be tolerated in ensuring the welfare and well-being of the inmates, especially during the holidays, so they too can benefit from the spirit of Eid," he remarked.

The Superintendent of District Jail Attock briefed the ADC General on the administrative and security arrangements. After inspecting various barracks and sections of the prison, the ADC General expressed satisfaction over the security measures and cleanliness standards maintained within the facility.
