LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Acting President Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani visited the residence of Mehar Arshad Mehmood, Chairman Zoom Group, here on Monday.

Upon arrival, the Acting President was warmly received by Umar Arshad Mehar, Director Zoom Group.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, prevailing political situation and issues relating to the petroleum sector and the business community were discussed in detail.

The participants also exchanged views on promoting business-friendly policies and enhancing economic activity across various sectors.

Zoom Group CEO Sheharyar Arshad, Director Umer Arshad, Malik Bat CEO Malik Zahid, Mercantile Enterprise CEO Qasim Chaudhry, Waqar Rice Mills Director Usman Aziz and other notable members of the business community were present on the occasion.

Later, a dinner was hosted in honour of the Acting President, which was attended by the prominent business figures.
