Accused arrested with narcotics

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Police in Khanewal continued a vigorous crackdown against drug peddlers and recovered a large quantity of narcotics, including hashish, ice (crystal meth), and liquor, besides the arrest of several alleged drug dealers.

Jahanian police arrested a previously recorded drug dealer, Qamar Zaman, and recovered 2.260 kilograms of hashish from his possession. Similarly, Jandiali Chowki under Mian Channu Saddar police apprehended an accused identified as Parvez alias Dallu and seized 2.

Kacha Khuh police arrested an alleged drug dealer, Liaqat Ali, and recovered 1.200 kilograms of hashish, while Kahna police launched operations against notorious drug peddlers and seized 2.200 kilograms of hashish.

Meanwhile, City Khanewal police arrested a record-holder drug dealer, Amir Qureshi, and recovered 1.200 kilograms of ice from his possession. Chabb Kalan police also arrested a liquor seller and recovered 30 litres of liquor.
