AC reviews cleanliness, beautification in city markets

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Sargodha Ahmad Sher Gondal on Wednesday visited various markets across the city to assess ongoing efforts for cleanliness and beautification.

During the visit, the Chief Officer of the Municipal Committee also accompanied the AC Sargodha. The officials reviewed arrangements related to sanitation, overall market conditions, and steps taken to enhance the appearance of commercial areas.

On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner expressed concern over existing issues and directed the concerned authorities to take immediate and effective measures.

He emphasized ensuring proper cleanliness, removal of encroachments, and provision of essential civic facilities in the market.

He further stated that all necessary steps should be taken on priority to provide citizens with a clean, organized, and pleasant shopping environment.

The AC also warned that negligence in maintaining standards would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against responsible officials.
