AC review Muharram Category-A routes

NOWSHERA VIRKAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (AC) , Saadia Jamal here on Wednesday conducted a detailed inspection of category-A Muharram routes and reviewed security arrangements ahead of Muharram-ul-Haram.

DSP Circle, Ansar Farooq Mann accompanied the AC.

During the visit, licensed procession organizer Imran Ali Shah and other organizers were also present on the occasion.

The Tehsil's officials finalized a security deployment schedule for the Muharram processions and gatherings in both areas.

Speaking on the occasion, the AC emphasized that cooperation among all religious communities was essential for maintaining peace and harmony during the first ten days of Muharram.

She said that preserving the longstanding traditions of interfaith respect and religious tolerance in the region would help ensure a peaceful observance of the holy month.
