AC removes Illegal cattle sale points

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Gujrat Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon launched an operation against illegal cattle sale points and removed two unauthorized livestock markets established along GT Road in Gujrat.

According to official sources, the district administration stated that the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals would only be allowed at notified cattle sale points, while strict action would continue against those setting up illegal markets ahead of Eid ul Azha.

Officials said the unauthorized cattle markets were causing traffic congestion and administrative problems, adding that the operation was conducted to ensure smooth traffic flow and better arrangements for citizens.
