AC oversees auction of vegetables, fruits at Ratta Kulachi market

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) Acting on the directives of the provincial government, Assistant Commissioner Ehsanullah on early Saturday morning supervised the auction process of vegetables, fruits and other agricultural commodities at the Ratta Kulachi Stadium vegetable market.

The monitoring was carried out in the presence of District food Controller Aman Khan, Naib Tehsildar Daraban Naseer Ahmad, and officials of the Agriculture Department to ensure transparency in the bidding process and compliance with official procedures.

During the auction, the bidding process was closely observed and price fixation was reviewed on the spot.

Following the assessment, an official price list was issued to regulate the sale of fruits and vegetables in the market.

The assistant commissioner directed commission agents, traders and shopkeepers to strictly adhere to the government-approved prices and provide quality fruits and vegetables to consumers.

He warned that legal action would be taken against anyone found violating the official price list.

The district administration reiterated its commitment to providing relief to the public, maintaining order in markets, controlling prices of essential commodities and preventing profiteering.
