SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Assistant Commissioner New Sukkur, Bushra Mansoor on Wednesday paid a surprise early morning visit to the main vegetable and fruit market on Shikarpur Road to review the auction process of produce and ensure transparency in pricing and supply.

During her visit, she inspected the bidding procedure, rate fixation, and overall supply chain to ensure fairness and transparency. She directed the commission agents to ensure that vegetables and fruits are made available to the public at reasonable and affordable prices, emphasizing that unjustified profiteering will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Bushra Mansoor stated that providing relief to the common man is the top priority of the district administration. She warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty of overpricing or violating the official price list. She further added that immediate action will be taken on complaints of vegetables and fruits being sold at inflated rates.

The AC reiterated that the administration is committed to protecting consumer rights and maintaining price stability in the market.
