AC Musakhel reviews steps to establish Ramazan Sasta Bazaar for facilitating people

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) On special directive of Deputy Commissioner Musakhel Abdul Razzaq Khajak, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Najibullah Kakar, on Thursday, chaired a meeting to review measures of establishment of Ramazan Sasta Bazaar for facilitating people in the month of Ramazan.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Traders Association, officers of the relevant departments, administrative officials and local shopkeepers and various issues were discussed in detail to provide maximum facilities to the people during the month of Ramazan.

In view of the holy month of Ramazan, an effective strategy was formulated in the meeting to provide relief to the people and ensure the uninterrupted availability of food items and keep prices moderate.

The important points under consideration on this occasion included arrangements for the establishment of Ramadan Sasta Bazaar, issuance of the official Ramazan rate list and its strict implementation, preparation of Ramazan security plan, establishment of Ramadan control room and its effective functioning, and other related matters.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, AC Najibullah Kakar said that the month of Ramazan is a holy month of blessings, blessings and worship, in which providing maximum convenience to the people is the top priority of the district administration.

He urged the business community to completely avoid overselling, hoarding and artificial inflation, keeping in mind the sanctity and respect of Ramazan and ensuring implementation of the official price list.

He clarified that any individual or shopkeeper found involved in overselling or illegal profiteering in violation of the official rate list would be taken against him strictly according to the law.

The AC directed the officers of the concerned departments to regularly monitor the markets, utility stores and cheap markets during Ramazan and ensure the provision of quality and affordable essential commodities to the people at all costs.

The meeting also decided that the Ramazan Control Room would be activated to immediately address public complaints, while security at mosques, markets and public places would be made more effective under comprehensive security arrangements.

On this occasion, the administration reiterated its resolve that all available resources would be utilized to provide full relief to the public, keep prices under control and maintain an atmosphere of peace and order during the holy month of Ramazan.
