PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) A narcotics department official who had been abducted by unidentified armed men was found shot dead on Monday near Dhooda village in district Lakki Marwat, police said.
According to police report, the deceased, identified as Fareedullah, was allegedly abducted by two unknown armed motorcyclists before being taken to an undisclosed location.
Police said the victim was later shot and killed near Dhooda village, where his body was recovered after reports of firing in the area.
Police reached the scene, shifted the body for medico-legal formalities, and started an investigation to trace the attackers and establish the motive behind the killing.
Authorities said further inquiry was underway and efforts were being made to arrest those responsible for the brutal incident.
