Abbottabad administration inspects tourist facilities in Galiyat to improve public services

NATHIAGALI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2026) The Abbottabad district administration Friday has intensified efforts to improve public services and tourist facilities under its District Service Delivery (2.0) initiative, with officials inspecting key public amenities in Galiyat.

Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram, Additional Assistant Commissioner Galiyat Muhammad Tariq visited public washrooms and the Tourist Facilitation Center in Galiyat to review the quality of services being provided to tourists and local residents.

During the visit, the official inspected cleanliness, water supply, available facilities, and overall management of the public washrooms. He also reviewed the services, information desk, and administrative arrangements at the Tourist Facilitation Center.

The Additional Assistant Commissioner met with the staff on duty and directed them to ensure courteous behavior with visitors, maintain high standards of service delivery, and provide quality facilities to both tourists and the public.

He instructed the relevant staff to maintain cleanliness at the public washrooms and the Tourist Facilitation Center at all times, ensure the uninterrupted availability of basic facilities, and take prompt and effective measures to address public complaints.

The district administration said it remains committed to improving public services, maintaining cleanliness, and providing the best possible facilities to tourists and local residents across Abbottabad's tourist destinations.
