HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) The former Vice Chairman of Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) Hyderabad region, Kashif Shaikh, has said the budget 2026-27 appeared business-friendly as government has reduced taxes besides trying to provide relief to the working class, traders and industrialists.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Talking to the APP here on Friday, Shaikh welcomed the abolition of 6 out of 7 categories of the super tax which was imposed on the rich people.
He said the move would boost the investors' confidence in the country.
He added that tax reduction in the real estate sector would also pace up investments in that sector.
Commenting on the government's announcement about collection of Rs25,000 per annum tax from shopkeepers, Shaikh welcomed the government's policy.
He emphasized on the need of decreasing human contact for tax collection by means of greater digitization.
