HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) The district administration of Hyderabad has claimed that in order to provide relief to citizens and to control price hike during Ramazan, 8 complaint camps have been set up in the district, with 2 camps in each of the 4 talukas.
An official informed here on Saturday that the complaints received at the Deputy Commissioner's Control Room were being forwarded for immediate action to those camps.
The official said staff were deployed at the camps to ensure a quick response and on-the-spot facilitation for the public.
According to him, the authorities had so far slapped around Rs1 million fine during 726 price checking visits, while 47 traders had been issued warnings.
He said the district administration remained committed to strict price control measures and effective implementation of the Ramazan Ordinance.
