8 families receive allotment letters under housing programme

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) The process of providing free residential plots to deserving and homeless people continues under the Apni Zameen, Apna Ghar programme, initiated by the Punjab government.

According to an official source, Deputy Commissioner Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi distributed allotment letters among eight deserving individuals during a ceremony held at the DC office.

Under the programme, eligible families are being provided free three-marla residential plots to help them fulfill their dream of owning a home.

Participants termed the initiative a revolutionary step for low-income and homeless families, saying it would ensure dignified housing facilities.
