75 years of Pak-China friendship celebrated at Government Women’s College

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) A graceful ceremony and painting competition were held on Saturday at Government Graduate College for Women, B-Block Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, to celebrate 75 years of Pak-China friendship. Students from 20 colleges across Rawalpindi district participated, showcasing impressive artistic talent.

The event aimed to pay tribute to the long-standing ties between Pakistan and China while promoting creativity among young students. Participants presented artworks reflecting themes such as economic cooperation, cultural harmony, and the enduring friendship between the two nations. The paintings were attractively displayed for exhibition.

Director Colleges Amjad Khattak and Assistant Director Ana Riaz attended the ceremony as chief guests.

Addressing the participants, Amjad Khattak said such activities help polish students’ creative abilities and play a vital role in promoting a positive image of the country. He appreciated the hard work and artistic skills demonstrated by the students.

The college administration ensured smooth and successful arrangements for the three-day event.

A large number of students, teachers, and distinguished guests attended the ceremony.

At the closing session, prizes were distributed among students who showed outstanding performance.
