FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) The District Education Authority (DEA) has promoted more than 725 teachers in Faisalabad to higher grades.
In this connection, a formal ceremony was also held to distribute promotion orders and recognize their services.
A spokesman of education department said that the promotions included male and female Primary school Teachers (PSTs) elevated to Elementary School Teachers (ESTs) in Grade-15 and ESTs promoted to Secondary School Teachers (SSTs) in Grade-16.
The promotion letters were distributed during a ceremony attended by Adviser to Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan as the chief guest.
Chief Executive Officer (Education) Rao Abdul Kareem, District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Muhammad Waseem Sajid and other senior education officials were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rana Sanaullah Khan congratulated the promoted teachers and urged them to continue serving with dedication and commitment, emphasizing the vital role of educators in shaping the future of the nation.
Representatives of the education department, including District Education Officer (Elementary Education) Muhammad Zakir and nominees of Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat — Nazakat Khan Baloch and Shoaib Rasool — also attended the event.
A large number of teachers including Muhammad Tanveer Aslam, Muhammad Haroon Rafiq, Mian Muhammad Ashfaq, Masood Anwar and Abdul Waheed were among those who received promotion orders.
On the occasion, President Teachers Union Mian Muhammad Saeed and others thanked the CEO Education and his team for facilitating promotions on such a large scale.
The promoted teachers reaffirmed their commitment to performing their academic responsibilities with renewed dedication and professionalism.
Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan appreciated the efforts of the CEO Education for ensuring promotions of a significant number of teachers, terming it a positive step towards strengthening the education system in the district.
