715 inspection visits carried out in Hyd division

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) The officials of the district administrations in the Hyderabad division carried out 715 inspections on the 10th day of the holy month of Ramazan to perform the price checking and to ensure the food quality control.

A spokesman of the Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Hussain Abbassi informed here on Saturday evening that the inspection teams found 149 violations of notified rate lists and quality by the outlets and vendors selling edible items.

He told that the authorities imposed a total of Rs123,700 in fines on the violators.

According to him, 155 inspection visits were carried out in Hyderabad district, 99 in Dadu, 85 in Tando Allahyar, 74 in Sujawal, 70 in Badin, 66 in Matiari, 65 in Jamshoro, 54 in Thatta and 47 in Tando Muhammad Khan districts.He said the Divisional Commissioner had strictly directed his subordinates to implement the price list and to ensure that no adulterated food items were sold in the markets.
