66 criminals held in district-wide crackdown

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Police arrested 66 criminals,including eight proclaimed offenders and 27 court absconders, during a crackdown launched across the district over the last 24 hours.

According to a police spokesperson on Friday,police teams also arrested 14 drug dealers and recovered 7kg of hashish, 1kg of heroin,1kg of ice and 220 liters of liquor from their possession.

During the operation,police also seized illegal weapons and ammunition from seven accused involved in criminal activities.

Cases have been registered against all the arrested suspects while further investigation was underway.
