6 injured as car crashes into electric pole

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Six members of a family were injured when a car crashed into an electric pole in Hyderabad, rescue officials said.

According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the incident occurred at around 3:00am on Sunday night near Qasim Chowk, close to Ghora Ground, when a car went out of control and collided with an electric pole.

As a result, six persons of Sukkur’s Pirzada family were injured.

They had come to Hyderabad to attend a wedding ceremony and were staying at a guest house located on Autobahn Road.

Rescue officials identified the injured as Mesam Pirzada, Hassaan, Hisham, Ali Jan, Sami and Anas Pirzada.

All injured persons were immediately shifted to civil hospital through rescue ambulance and private transport.

Following the accident, rescue personnel removed the damaged vehicle from the road, restoring the flow of traffic.
