RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Rawal Division police have intensified their crackdown against gambling activities and arrested six gamblers in separate operations, recovering cash, mobile phones, and playing cards from their possession on Friday.

According to police, Ratta Amral Police held five gamblers and recovered Rs20,800 in stake money, five mobile phones, and playing cards.

In a separate operation, Waris Khan Police arrested a gambler allegedly involved in online betting through the BPEXCH Live application.

Police recovered Rs9,050 in cash and a mobile phone from the suspect.

Following the operations, a total of six accused were taken into custody, while police also recovered stake money amounting to Rs29,850, six mobile phones, and gambling materials.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad said that the arrested individuals would be challaned with solid evidence.

He added that gambling is the root cause of several social evils and that strict action against such illegal activities would continue without discrimination.
