PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Six Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel embraced martyrdom while bravely confronting terrorists in the Hassan Khel area, FC spokesman said Tuesday.

Funeral prayers for the fallen personnel were offered at the Federal Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry attended the funeral ceremony.

The ministers paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs, Naik Aamir, Lance Naik Muhammad Yousaf, Lance Naik Muhammad Riaz, and Constables Ajmeer, Ehsan, and Riaz, and expressed their condolences to the bereaved families.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi offered condolences to the families of the martyrs and praised their courage and resilience.

"The sacrifices of our martyrs will not go in vain," he said. "The nation will always remember the supreme sacrifices made by its brave sons.

He further said that the government stood shoulder to shoulder with the grieving families and assured them that they would not be left alone during this difficult time.

Talal Chaudhry said that the entire nation remained united and resolute in the fight against terrorism. He added that operations against elements hostile to peace would be further intensified and made more effective.

The funeral prayers were also attended by the Inspector General of the Frontier Corps (North), Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inspector General of the Federal Constabulary, Commandant of the National Police academy, Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency, Director General of NCCIA, the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, along with other senior officials.

During the ceremony, the Inspector General of the Federal Constabulary briefed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on the details of the incident.
