54 million allocated for SBBS, 1.7 billion set for Digibizz to instill digital skill among youth

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) Balochistan government announced that 54 million has been allocated for Shaheed Banazir Bhutto Scholarship (SBBS) and Rs, 1.7 billion arranged for Digibizz to instill digital skills among the youth.

Provincial finance minister Shoaib Nosherwani said in the session budget that Rs 2 billion has been allocated for the Low Cost Housing Project for the accommodation of poor families, 3 billion has been fixed for the provision of clean drinking water in all union councils of the province.

He said that four modern facilities of fruit, vegetable, grain, livestock markets and bus terminals would be provided in all districts, grievance Redressal System would be established for the timely redressal of public complaints saying that Rs 600 million made allocation for the special support program for the public.

The Finance Minister said that Rs, 70 million allocated for the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Scholarship adding that Rs, 70 million kept fund for the digital skills of the youth of Balochistan in the next financial year 2026-27, a total of 5000 new posts would be created in various government departments to create opportunities.
