5 held for online gambling in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) The district police on Friday arrested five individuals allegedly involved in online gambling during a crackdown in the limits of Paharpur police station.

According to police, the action was carried out on the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed.

A team of Paharpur police station led by SDPO Paharpur Muhammad Adnan along with SHO Zafar Abbas conducted a raid against individuals involved in gambling activities.

During the operation, the police apprehended five suspects who were allegedly engaged in online gambling, recovering seven mobile phones from their possession.

The arrested suspects were taken into custody and legal proceedings have been initiated against them. Police officials stated that such actions will continue as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate crime and illegal activities from society.
