48 temporary encroachments removed in Daska

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) The district administration removed 48 temporary encroachments and imposed Rs. 87,000 fine during an anti-encroachment operation in Daska under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Sadia Jafar.

According to details, the operation was conducted on Wazirabad Road, Bangla Chowk, Old Kutchery Road, Fawara Chowk, Sambrial Road and Circular Road to ensure smooth traffic flow on major city roads. During the drive, 13 violators were also issued strict warnings.

Assistant Commissioner Sadia Jafar said no one would be allowed to occupy public spaces illegally or spoil the city's beauty. She warned shopkeepers to keep their merchandise within the limits of their shops, adding that indiscriminate action against encroachments would continue to facilitate safe and convenient movement for the public.
