417 Eid gathering to be held in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) About 417 Eid gatherings will be held in all tehsils of Bahawalpur district.

According to an official press release issued by the District Police Office here, “Across the Bahawalpur

district, 417 Eid gatherings will be held, and more than 1,200 officers and personnel of the

police will be deployed on security duty”.

It said that the Dolphin Force and Elite Force units had been instructed to continue patrolling throughout

the city, adding that over 300 additional police personnel have been assigned to sensitive locations.

A spokesman for Bahawalpur police said here that strict security arrangements had been put in place at mosques, graveyards, parks, and markets, adding that instructions had been issued to police personnel to keep a close watch on suspicious individuals.
