BANNU, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Four policemen were injured after unidentified assailants attacked the Maryan Police Station in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Wednesday, according to police sources quoted by television channels.

Initial reports said the attackers opened fire on the police station, leaving four police personnel injured.

The wounded policemen were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Following the attack, a heavy contingent of police reached the scene and cordoned off the area. A search operation has been launched to arrest those involved in the assault.
