4,384 FIRs registered in theft cases

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2026) A total of 4,384 First Information Reports (FIRs) were registered in theft cases from September

7, 2023 to June 20, 2026.

According to a press release issued by FESCO authorities, the task force teams charged 10,091,479 units in different theft-related cases, while the total amount involved was recorded at Rs 506, 083,691.

During the period from June 15 to June 20, 2026, a total of 57 FIRs were registered.

The units charged during these days stood at 81,785, with the amount involved reaching Rs2, 268,460.

On June 20, 2026, three FIRs were registered, with 4,825 units charged and an amount

of Rs114, 110 recorded.
