3 suspects injured, arrested in separate encounters with Hyd police

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Three suspects were shot and injured before being arrested in 2 separate encounters carried out in the limits of Bhitai Nagar and Naseem Nagar police stations in Hyderabad.The police spokesman informed here on Sunday that 2 suspects were arrested in injured condition after an alleged exchange of fire between Naseem Nagar police and 2 suspects who were riding on a motorbike near Abdullah Garden phase VI.He claimed that Usman and Wakeel Rajput sustained gunshot wounds on their legs during the two-way firing and were later rounded up.They were later shifted to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) for surgery of their bullet injuries.

The spokesman claimed that Naseem Nagar police recovered 2 pistols and a stolen motorbike from their possession.He told that the police were checking further criminal records of those suspects.Meanwhile, in another encounter on Jamshoro road a suspect, Ramzan Rajab, was arrested in injured condition along with recovery of a pistol and a stolen motorbike.The spokesman claimed that 2 of his suspects escaped during the exchange of fire.According to him, Rajab was booked in 18 FIRs of robberies, theft and encounters.
