3 shot dead; CPO takes notice

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Three people dead in a firing incident on Wednesday in Qasimabad Bazaar Peshawar Road within the jurisdiction of Nasirabad police station.

According to Rescue 1122 sources, initial information suggested that the deceased included two women and one man, and the women were reported to be the wives of the deceased man.

City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani took notice of the incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations), Senior Superintendent of Police (Investigation) and SP Potohar reached the scene along with heavy police contingent.

Preliminary reports indicated that the shooting occurred over a domestic dispute. Police said all aspects of the case are being investigated and efforts are under way to arrest the suspect or suspects and bring them to justice.

Rescue-1122 shifted the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
