PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) At least three people were killed and seven others injured after a boat carrying tourists capsized at Saifullah Lake in Kalam, Swat, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.
According to Rescue 1122 Swat, its control room received information about the incident and emergency response teams along with ambulances were immediately dispatched to the site.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Initial reports indicated that the tourists on board belonged to Punjab province.
Rescue teams reached the location, provided first aid to the injured and shifted all injured persons and the deceased to Kalam Hospital through ambulances.
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the identities of the victims.
