3 girls, mother killed as dumper hits motorcycle in Taxila

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) A tragic traffic accident in Taxila claimed the lives of three girls and their mother on Tuesday after a dumper

truck collided with a motorcycle, a Rescue 1122 spokesman said.

The crash occurred on Jung Bahter Road near the Brahma Interchange. One person was also injured in

the incident.

Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene shortly after receiving the alert and shifted the bodies and

the injured to a nearby hospital.

The spokesman said all the deceased were travelling on the motorcycle. Preliminary findings suggested the

accident was caused by the dumper driver’s negligence and overspeeding.

Local residents said Jung Bahter Road frequently witnessed serious accidents due to heavy traffic and

speeding by large vehicles, calling for stricter traffic control and monitoring.
