3 brothers shot for stopping man from harassing elderly woman

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Three brothers were shot and injured in a fight which sparked after a mini pickup's driver allegedly misbehaved with an elderly woman in Latifabad unit number 8 area here Tuesday evening.

According to the A-Section police, watching the vehicle's driver Muhammad Ubaid Yousufzai allegedly harassing a woman Sheroze Yousufzai intervened to stop the driver from misconduct.

However, the police informed, the situation flared up and Ubaid called one of his friends while the brothers of Sheroze came for his help.

The police added that Ubaid and his friend Muneed later shot and injured the 3 brothers.The neighbours later overpowered Ubaid but Muneeb escaped.

The suspect was later handed over to the A-Section police and the injured brothers were shifted to the Liaquat University Hospital.

Sheroze is said to be 29 years old and the ages of his brothers Furqan and Pervez are 27 years and 22 years.

All the 3 brothers were shot in their feet.The incident's FIR could not be lodged by the night.
