246 illegal decanting outlets sealed

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Capt (Retd) Nadeem Nasir during crackdown on illegal decanting in the district sealed 246 outlets in various localities on Friday.

According to official sources, the civil defense teams seized machinery from 184 shops and registered cases against 3 LPG retailers.

The department also forwarded challan against 5 shopkeepers to the court for further proceedings.

Meanwhile, in a drive against selling loose petrol, 41 shops and 17 illegal filling stations were sealed while machines from 2 filling stations were also seized.
