22 dispensaries in Makkah ready to ensure health to Pakistani pilgrims

As many as twenty-two medical dispensaries have been made operational in Makkah to ensure the provision of healthcare facilities to Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) As many as twenty-two medical dispensaries have been made operational in Makkah to ensure the provision of healthcare facilities to Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj.

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of 949 Khudam-ul-Hujjaj have reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to assist intending pilgrims across various departments.

The spokesperson further stated that 39,959 Pakistani pilgrims have already arrived in Saudi Arabia, while an additional 78,875 pilgrims are expected to be transported to the Kingdom over the next fifteen days.

Meanwhile, 6,673 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia through private Hajj arrangements.

To streamline operations, the main control office of the Pakistan Hajj Mission has been established in Makkah. Multiple departments have been set up to facilitate pilgrims, including administration, accounts, airport reception, accommodation, food services, transport, Haram guides, call center, complaints cell, lost and found, wheelchair desk, and media cell.

These comprehensive arrangements aim to ensure a smooth and comfortable Hajj experience for pilgrims from Pakistan.
