2000 wheat bags recovered from illegal hoarders

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The district administration on Thursday recovered more than 2,000 wheat bags from a warehouse allegedly being used for illegal storage in Chak Lakhiwal.

According to the official spokesperson here on Thursday, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Sargodha, the team conducted raid in a godown and recovered 2000 wheat bags.

The confiscated wheat has been shifted to the PR Centre for further legal and administrative proceeding.

Officials stated that indiscriminate action against individuals involved in illegal hoarding, smuggling, and unauthorized movement of wheat will continue across the district to ensure market stability and protect public interest.
