2 fugitives wanted in murder case arrested in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Naseerabad Police have arrested two proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted in a murder case during a crackdown here on Saturday.

According to a police spokesman, the arrested suspects, along with an accomplice who had already been apprehended earlier, were involved in the fatal stabbing of a man and injuring another over a personal enmity.

The POs had been evading arrest since January this year and were wanted by the police in connection with the murder case.

The spokesman said the Naseerabad Police traced and arrested the fugitives by utilising human intelligence and other investigative resources.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pothohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team and said the arrested accused would be sent to court with solid evidence to ensure due punishment.
