LAHORE:

Two young siblings lost their lives and another child was critically injured after a fire broke out in a scrap warehouse in the China Scheme area of Gujjarpura on Monday.

Rescue 1122 sources said the fire erupted suddenly in a junkyard warehouse and quickly spread due to the presence of highly combustible material, engulfing parts of the structure before firefighters brought it under control.

Officials said three children were trapped inside the seven- to eight-marla premises while their parents were away.
