170 female teachers promoted to next grade

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) The Education Department Sargodha has promoted 170 female teachers to the next grades through a departmental promotion board to enhance the academic and administrative efficiency in the district's schools.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Education Authority (DEA) Sargodha Azhar Sohail Khan Niazi and District Education Officer Rabia Aslam issued the promotion orders, which included 93 teachers promoted from Primary school Teacher (PST) to Elementary School Teacher (EST) Science, 62 from PST to EST Arts, and 15 from PST to EST Arabic.

According to a press release issued by the Education department, teachers with BS and MSc qualifications were specifically prioritized for the EST Science category to ensure quality instruction.

On the occasion, the Education department officers highly commended Senior Promotion Assistant Mian Anam Jamshed and Junior Clerk Fahad Bakhsh for their tireless efforts in completing the promotion process.

The education department officials congratulated the promoted teachers and expressed their best wishes for their future professional growth.
