15 POs arrested

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) The police have arrested 15 proclaimed offenders (POs) involved in serious criminal cases including attempted murder, criminal breach of trust and theft during last 12 hours.

Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that the arrests were made during a series of targeted operations conducted by police teams in different areas of the district.

He said that the arrested proclaimed offenders included Ashfaq, Asif, Sanaullah, Shahid, Azeem, Arshad and several others who had been wanted by police in connection with various criminal cases registered at different police stations.

He said that the accused were allegedly involved in serious offences including attempted murder, criminal breach of trust and theft. They had been evading arrest for some time before being traced and apprehended during the latest operations while further investigations are underway, he added.
