14-year-old girl shot dead in Kotli Pain, Mansehra, suspect fleed after incident

MANSEHRA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) A 14-year-old minor girl was shot dead in the Kotli Pain area within the jurisdiction of Baffa Police Station, Mansehra district, on Sunday.

According to police sources, the victim sustained two bullet wounds, one in the abdomen and another in the neck, resulting in her death on the spot.

The accused managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime.

Local sources revealed that the suspect had allegedly come to target his fiancée, who is a cousin of the deceased. However, during the firing incident, the innocent girl was mistakenly killed.

Baffa police have registered a murder case under section 302 and have launched an investigation into the incident.
