13 overseas cases resolved in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) A meeting of the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi to review pending applications pertaining to overseas Pakistanis.

During the meeting, 35 cases from across the district, including tehsils Gujrat, Kharian and Sarai Alamgir, were taken up.

After detailed hearings and briefings by the concerned departments, 13 cases were resolved on the spot.

The deputy commissioner directed the relevant officers to expedite action on the remaining cases and ensure their early disposal.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Saba Sahar, officers of the concerned departments and representatives of the district police were also present.

She emphasized that no delay in resolving issues of overseas Pakistanis would be tolerated and directed that all cases be decided on a priority basis.
