12 wheelers arrested

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) arrested more than 12 one-wheelers and impounded their

motorcycles during a special crackdown against one-wheeling, reckless driving and underage drivers in the provincial capital.

According to a PSCA spokesperson, in view of the increasing trend of one-wheeling and overspeeding during Sehri and Iftar hours, Safe City’s virtual patrolling officers are continuously monitoring major roads and highways through advanced surveillance systems. With the help of modern cameras and surveillance technology, multiple one-wheelers and underage drivers were identified and arrested.

The spokesperson said that special surveillance would remain continued throughout Ramazan and strict action against law violators would be ensured through camera-based monitoring to provide a safe environment to citizens.
