Makkah, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Under the "Mashair Management Strategy 2026" approved by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, the Pakistan Hajj Mission will complete the transition of more than 118,000 pilgrims to the Mina tent city by Monday morning. Following this, pilgrims will move to Arafat on 9th Dhul Hijjah for the main ritual of Waqoof-e-Arafat.

For the first time in Hajj history, a structural discipline mechanism has been introduced, appointing a "Group Ameer" comprising three men and three women from each of the 188 designated Hajj groups. Additionally, special "Mashair Khidmatgar Teams" have been deployed in the field to assist sick, elderly, and differently-abled pilgrims with wheelchair support. The entire operation is being digitally managed based on the pilgrims' "Green Card" data.

During a high-level briefing chaired by the Federal Minister in Makkah, Coordinator Makkah Zulfiqar Khan stated that a smart transport operation utilizing 1,668 buses from Naqaba, Abu Sarhad, and Mawakib Al-Khair is actively relocating the pilgrims. In accordance with their specific religious jurisprudence, 3,021 pilgrims belonging to the Fiqh-e-Jafaria will be transported directly to Arafat instead of Mina, while dedicated travel arrangements have also been finalized for 85 Noorbakhshi pilgrims.

To provide round-the-clock guidance, a total of 1,769 field personnel—comprising welfare assistants, security staff, and medical mission members—have been deployed at the Al-Rajhi and Rawaf Mina camps under the "One Team, One Mission" framework.

Concluding the meeting, Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf directed the field teams to ensure the smooth and safe transfer of pilgrims on the first day of Manasik, emphasizing that the success of this initial phase sets the tone for the upcoming stages.

The Minister strictly underscored that, given the intense weather conditions, adhering to the specific timings and regulations issued by the Saudi authorities for the Rami ritual at Jamarat (including restrictions between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM) is a collective responsibility, and no negligence would be tolerated. For any emergencies, an active control room can be reached via Saudi SIMs by dialing 1966.
