10th Syndicate meeting of BBS-UTECH held in Khairpur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) The 10th meeting of the Syndicate of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development (BBS-UTECH), Khairpur, was held at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, BBS-UTECH, officials said on Saturday.

The meeting began with recitation from the Holy Quran by Dr Aftab Ahmed Soomro, followed by introduction of the participants.

At the outset, the Vice Chancellor welcomed the Syndicate members and thanked them for their participation. He particularly thanked MPA Tanzila Umm Habiba, Syed Asad Ali Shah, Dr Noman Abid nominee of the Sindh Higher education Commission, Dr Munir Ahmed Meerjat nominee of HEC Islamabad, Special Secretary Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Suhail Anwar Baloch, Additional Advocate General Sindh High Court Liaquat Ali Shar, Dr Ghulam Jafar Soomro and other faculty and administration members.

The Syndicate reviewed the agenda items in detail and deliberated on key academic and administrative matters of the university. After thorough discussion, the Syndicate approved important decisions based on recommendations of the Selection board, including cases related to appointments and promotions of officers.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Syndicate’s commitment to continue efforts to strengthen institutional governance, promote merit and further enhance the academic and professional standards of the University.
