1 dead as water tanker hits motorcycle

Friday.

According to details, the accident occurred near Civic Centre in Karachi where a rashly driven water tanker ran over a motorcycle, killing the rider on the spot, private news channel reported.

Soon after the incident, local residents gathered at the scene and staged a protest. The charged mob also set the water tanker on fire.

Police and rescue teams reached at the spot and shifted the body to a hospital.

Police said the identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed and further investigation is underway.
