Two held after fuel theft attempt

MUZAFFWRGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Police arrested two men after they allegedly fled a petrol station without paying for fuel in the Daira Din Panah area of Kot Addu.

According to police sources, the suspects filled their Vigo pickup with fuel at a petrol station near Pir Jagi Mor and drove away without making payment.

Acting on information received through the emergency helpline, Sultan Colony Police Post In-Charge Sub-Inspector Muhammad Nawaz Khan, along with Head Constable Haji Ashraf and a police team, set up a checkpoint and intercepted the vehicle.

The pickup, which was reportedly carrying an applied-for registration status, was seized, while the occupants, identified as Saifullah Lund and his associate Mehboob, residents of Shadan Lund, were taken into custody.

The suspects were later handed over to Daira Din Panah Police Station for further legal action.
