SP Pari Gul briefs Imambargah organizers on Muharram security arrangements

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen briefed organizers of various Imambargahs at Police Lines Headquarters on security arrangements and coordination mechanisms for Muharram-ul-Haram.

An official told APP on Monday that the briefing focused on security-related matters, mutual coordination and measures aimed at ensuring protection of citizens' lives and property during Muharram.

SP Pari Gul informed the participants about the comprehensive security plan devised by Islamabad Police for religious gatherings and processions across the Federal capital.

During the session, various security concerns and operational matters were discussed, while organizers were briefed on the role of police and other security measures being implemented during Muharram-ul-Haram.

The organizers also shared their views, suggestions and concerns regarding security arrangements and facilitation measures.

SP Pari Gul assured the participants of Islamabad Police's full cooperation and emphasized the importance of close coordination between police and Imambargah administrations for maintaining a peaceful environment.
