Seven stolen goats recovered in Westridge police operation

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Police have successfully solved a livestock theft case that occurred before Eid-ul-Azha, revealing that a former employee of the livestock was behind the crime.

According to police spokesperson, the suspect was taken into custody and seven stolen animals four goats and three female goats worth thousands of rupees were recovered during the operation.

During the investigation, Westridge Police included the former employee in the inquiry, leading to the disclosure of his involvement in the theft.

The recovered livestock has been seized and further legal proceedings are underway.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan stated that the suspect would be challaned before the court with solid evidence and that all legal requirements would be fulfilled to ensure prosecution.

Police official reiterated commitment to take strict action against individuals involved in theft and other criminal activities.
