RPO directs police officials to enhance cleanliness standard at police stations and Public-friendly policing

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi Region, Babar Sarfraz Alpa, has directed police officials to improve cleanliness standards at police stations and ensure courteous, citizen-friendly policing during visits to Gujar Khan and Mandra police stations.

Accompanied by relevant officers, the RPO inspected various sections of both police stations, including the buildings, lock-ups, front desks, stores, and other operational facilities.

He reviewed administrative and service delivery standards and issued instructions aimed at improving public facilitation.

During the inspection, Babar Sarfraz Alpa emphasized that citizens visiting police stations must be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism.

He directed officers to listen to public complaints attentively and ensure timely resolution of their issues.

The RPO warned that any rude, inappropriate, or inhumane behaviour towards citizens would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

He also instructed officers to further improve cleanliness and maintain a welcoming environment at police stations.

In addition, the RPO stressed the need for effective crime control, directing police officers to ensure the arrest of suspects involved in serious crimes and conduct investigations strictly on merit.

The visits were part of ongoing efforts by the Rawalpindi Police to strengthen public trust, improve service delivery, and enhance operational efficiency across the region.
